Responsibilities
- Receive hands-on training in operating different types of trucks, including manual transmission vehicles.
- Safely load and unload vehicles at auctions and dealerships without damage.
- Assist with route planning and driving duties for transporting vehicles across designated routes.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time while adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and route logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate daily operations.
Requirements
- Willingness to undergo comprehensive training on truck operation, including manual transmission vehicles and various car hauling trailer types.
- Class A CDL with a minimum of 1 year experience.
- Could require being out 1 or 2 nights out a week.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and random drug testing.
- Paid by percentage
- Will train the right person.
- Ability to learn and operate specialized equipment such as car hauling trucks is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail for load & unload procedures and safety checks.
- Good communication skills and a responsible attitude toward safety and compliance.
- Physical ability to handle loading tasks and long hours on the road.
Pay: $1,200.00 - $2,000.00 per week
