Responsibilities
- Install fences according to project specifications, including farm fencing and other residential or commercial fencing needs.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete installations.
- Handle construction materials with care, ensuring proper placement and secure fastening of fence components.
- Measure and mark areas for fence placement to ensure accuracy and alignment.
- Prepare work sites by clearing obstacles, digging post holes, and setting posts securely in the ground.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any damages or malfunctions promptly.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during installation processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fence installation or related construction work preferred.
- Ability to operate power tools such as drills, saws, and post drivers safely.
- Proficiency with hand tools used in construction and fencing projects.
- Physical ability to handle construction materials, dig post holes, lift heavy objects, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Prior experience with farm fencing installation is a plus but not mandatory.
