Account Manager
Job Objective: Manage strategic customer accounts, act as a liaison between key customers, production and planning to manage orders, schedules and delivery changes.
Responsibilities:
- Proficient with spreadsheets – updating and tracking spreadsheets for customers and for the sales department to provide weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly updates
- Attention to detail - verifying the accuracy of orders and quotes, general data entry
- Communicating with customers through various channels; email, portal, phone
- Understanding order process and parts for providing production status, coordinating special instructions, and managing customer requests
- Ability to perform professionally in situations when customers become upset because of late orders or the inability to get an order when they need it
- Respond quickly and accurately to inquiries and follow up, as needed
- Interact professionally with co-workers and management
- Learn and provide backup for Order Entry
Relationships and Roles:
- Maintains positive relationships with various departments.

Job Specifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or 3-5 years of equivalent experience
- Experience with MRP, ERP, and customer service requirements
- Analytical skills, Problem solving, conflict resolution
- Computer skills, manufacturing software, MS Office
- Verbal and Written Communication
- Attention to Detail
- Sense of urgency
