Delivery Driver /Warehouse Associate
This position is a temporary position with a 90-day probation period. There is the possibility of an offer of permanent employment within that 90 days
Delivery driver responsibilities:
Drive a company van to make deliveries to the large warehouses and businesses we service throughout the city. Driver is also responsible for picking up merchandise from trucking lines.
The applicant must have a clean driving record. A background and auto insurance check will be done before the final offer of employment will be made.
Warehouse associate responsibilities:
Open, sort and put away merchandise
Prepare orders for delivery and/or shipment
Re-stock shelves
Keep the facility clean/ tears down boxes for disposal
Pack items for returns via ups or truck lines
Ability to work without close supervision
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
Ability to lift 20-30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
Education and Experience:
Minimum High school or equivalent (required)
Good driving record
Some knowledge of forklifts is preferred
Job Type:
This position is FT at 40 hours.
8-hour work day
Monday through Friday.
Work day schedule is 7:00AM to 4:00PM
Applicant must be able to start immediately
Pay: Up to $21.00 per hour
