Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide high-quality care to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various medical settings, demonstrating the ability to support individuals with diverse needs, including those requiring assistance due to age, illness, or disability. This role is essential in enhancing the quality of life for our clients while ensuring their safety and comfort in a familiar environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
• Assist with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
• Document daily activities and report any changes in client health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Engage clients in social activities and companionship to enhance emotional well-being.
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans.

Qualifications

• Level II trauma center experience is preferred.
• Background in hospital medicine or emergency medicine is advantageous.
• Experience in Level I Trauma Center settings is a plus.
• Familiarity with PICU, OR experience, geriatrics, medical-surgical, inpatient, and outpatient care is desirable.
• Teaching hospital experience will be considered an asset.
• Knowledge of post-acute care and sub-acute care environments is beneficial.
• Previous clinic experience is also an advantage.
