Apply in person. We are seeking a Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. This role requires mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in a manufacturing or construction environment. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for producing high-quality metal components and assemblies while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, and stick welding on various materials including sheet metal and pipe.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine specifications for fabrication.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as plasma cutters for metal fabrication.
- Conduct assembly tasks including fabrication and gate assembly.
- Operate telehandler and skid steer safely to move materials and finished products.
- Ensure all work complies with standards for quality assurance.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines efficiently.
- Includes inventory organization.
- Loading and unloading material and equipment.
- Some off site welding on occasion.
Qualifications
- Experience in welding and fabrication within a construction or manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in math skills for precise measurements.
- Familiarity with rigging techniques and mechanical knowledge related to welding processes.
- Ability to operate various machinery including skid steers and plasma cutting equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety practices in the workplace.
