Position Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Service Manager to oversee daily operations, support and lead technicians, and ensure excellent customer service. This role is ideal for someone who can balance fieldwork, team leadership, and administrative responsibilities in a small business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support a small team of pest control technicians
- Schedule daily routes and adjust for efficiency and customer needs
- Step into the field as needed to complete services or assist technicians
- Ensure quality control on all services and maintain high customer satisfaction
- Train and coach technicians on best practices and safety procedures
- Communicate with customers to resolve issues and maintain relationships
- Perform inspections and provide treatment recommendations and estimates
- Track inventory, equipment, and chemical usage
- Maintain service records, reports, and compliance documentation
- Assist with hiring and onboarding new employees
What We’re Looking For
- 2 years of pest control experience (preferred)
- Some leadership or supervisory experience (formal or informal)
- Valid pest control license (or ability to obtain quickly)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to lead by example
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities
- Comfortable using basic software for scheduling and reporting
- Valid driver’s license
