What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grounds Maintenance Crew Member position at G&R Campground?
We are seeking a dependable, reliable, hardworking Campground Maintenance Worker to join our team! This position involves a variety of responsibilities to ensure our campground remains clean, safe, and welcoming for our guests. The ideal candidate is trustworthy, timely, and ready to tackle indoor and outdoor tasks year-round.
Responsibilities may include:
- Landscaping: Mowing, trimming, leaf removal and maintaining green spaces.
- Trash Removal: Ensuring campground areas are clean and waste is properly disposed of.
- Septic Pumping: Weekly RV septic pumping with care and attention to detail.
- Basic Electrical and Plumbing: Performing minor repairs and maintenance as needed.
- General Handyman Tasks: Addressing various maintenance needs around the property.
- Inside Work: Assisting with indoor repairs or upkeep when necessary.
Requirements:
- Must be comfortable working in outdoor environments year-round.
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work up to 30 hours per week, with potential for additional hours, especially during the summer.
