Duties
- Install new HVAC systems according to specifications and local codes.
- Perform routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair issues with air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration systems.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs and installations.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and components.
- Conduct property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and equipment repairs.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding system performance and recommendations.
Skills
- Proficient in refrigerate and boiler system operations.
- Experience as a van driver for transportation of tools and equipment to job sites.
- Strong knowledge of property maintenance practices related to HVAC systems.
- Ability to operate an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics.
- Skilled in welding/brazing techniques for necessary repairs or installations.
- Expertise in maintaining air conditioning units and other HVAC equipment.
- Familiarity with reading schematics for efficient troubleshooting.
