G MASS Consulting are partnered with a leading Hedge Fund, who are designing and building an in-house CFTC swap data reporting engine to replace their current vendor solution.
This role will provide hands-on subject matter expertise and project oversight across CFTC Parts 43 and 45, ensuring the new framework meets all regulatory and operational control requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- Interpret and apply CFTC Part 43 and Part 45 obligations to the firm’s data model and reporting design
- Develop comprehensive functional and technical reporting specifications
- Conduct gap analysis against the current vendor configuration and recommend enhancements
- Lead design reviews and oversee deliverables in partnership with internal teams
- Develop and execute UAT and validation testing for swap data reporting logic
- Design post-implementation control frameworks, including reconciliations and exception management
- Support BAU alert resolution and maintain operational continuity during transition
- Produce detailed documentation, training materials, and reporting run books
- 7 years’ experience in CFTC Part 43/45 swap data reporting
- Deep knowledge of SDR reporting flows and lifecycle event handling (preferably DTCC DDR)
- Hands-on experience defining or re-platforming regulatory reporting solutions
- Strong understanding of data lineage, reconciliations, and control frameworks
- Proven ability to lead small teams and collaborate with compliance, technology, and operations
- Excellent documentation and stakeholder management skills
