G.M. Perron & Son is expanding. We are seeking a licensed skilled and motivated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential plumbing with a strong understanding of plumbing systems, installations, and repairs. This role requires proficiency in using various hand and power tools, as well as the ability to work with other tradesmen during the construction process of new construction home and remodeling work.ResponsibilitiesInstall, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local codes and regulations.Ensure all plumbing work is completed according to local codes and regulationsUse power tools and equipment to cut, solder, press, and thread pipesPerform field service work, including troubleshooting and repairsRead and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout and installation proceduresWork collaboratively with project managers, general contractor and other tradespeople to ensure timely and high-quality project completionConduct inspections to identify plumbing issues and propose solutionsMaintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety standardsExperienceValid Journeyman or Master Plumbing licenseProficiency in assembling, installing, and repairing plumbing systemsExperience with pipe threading and cutting using power toolsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematics accuratelyStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailPhysical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various environmentsMechanical knowledge of plumbing systems and components
