Position Summary
As a Compliance Research Associate you will be responsible for the following:
- Providing research and analysis on federal laws such as the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, False Claims Act, Drug Quality and Security Act, Sunshine Act (CMS Open Payments), HIPAA / HITECH, US Controlled Substances Act, and the Prescription Drug Marketing Act of 1987.
- Monitoring and analyzing government guidance's and enforcements, including but not limited to: FDA Guidance' (Draft & Final), OIG Advisory Opinions, DOJ enforcements, FDA warning letters, CMS advisory opinions, OPDP Untitled Letters, DEA Guidance, and more.
- Conduct research and provide analysis on state laws and regulations pertaining to price transparency and disclosure requirements, prescriptive authority, record retention requirements, marketing prohibitions, compliance program requirements, drug sampling, loss / theft reporting requirements, privacy, and more.
- Finding, tracking, summarizing US and state legislation as it relates to the pharmaceutical industry
- Writing, editing, and creating internal and client memorandums on the impact of the laws, regulations, and legislation
- Updating our proprietary online legal law library utilized by clients
- Keeping abreast of news, blogs, and case law and providing relevant updates internally and to clients

- You have excellent research, analysis, writing, and editing skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
