Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of machinery including bending machines, cold and abrasive saws and attention to detail
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to customer standards
• Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow
• Perform routine maintenance checks on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
• Assist in setup and changeover procedures for different production runs using hand tools and tooling equipment
• Maintain detailed records of machine operation, quality control checks, and safety inspections in accordance with manufacturing protocols

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating industrial machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and shop math principles
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing specifications and quality standards accurately
• Skilled in using precision measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other measuring instruments
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and commitment to maintaining a safe workspace
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently
• Strong attention to detail coupled with good communication skills for effective teamwork
