Position Summary
Responsible for achieving delivery targets on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, through G&J Pepsi's recruitment process. This includes visually, phone or Skype pre-screening candidates based on identified qualifications. This position will also be responsible for various administrative functions of the recruitment process and focuses on maintaining a positive relationship with the business and other HR Team member and contributing to G&J Pepsi being the premier Employer of Choice.

Essential Functions
  • Sources, recruits, screens and interviews internal and external candidates to fill open positions; develops and maintains relationships with recruiting sources (e.g. social media, internet sourcing, governmental agencies, job boards, newspaper, online, minority agencies) and attends job fairs to recruit and identify qualified, diverse candidates that help the organization meet their affirmative action goals and hiring needs.
  • Conducts internal and external interviews and provides follow-up and feedback to candidates where appropriate.
  • Maintains job postings on job boards, social media and other recruitment methods.
  • Designs, develops and presents orientation and on-boarding programs, coaching and mentoring programs and related training classes designed to help support company strategic priorities, objectives and to ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State and Local Laws.
  • Ensures compliance with company Affirmative Action goals and other applicable Federal/State/Local Laws; maintains AAP logs and ensures accuracy and reliability of data.
  • Ensures that company policies, standards and procedures are met, followed and maintained in accordance with established company policy (e.g. OSHA, DOT and safety compliance, Federal/State/Local laws).
  • Works with Talent Acquisition Manager and management team on employee engagement and culture building efforts through planned employee engagement trainings and communications.
  • Provides administrative support to HR Team when needed (e.g. maintains recruiting and employee files, distributes reports and mail, creates documents and presentations); provides assistance at other HR events as needed (e.g. Family Day, Wellness Fairs, employee recognition events).
  • Assists in the creation, development and drafting of policies, procedures and programs (e.g. Hiring Policy, Sourcing and attracting candidates, Employment Marketing Initiatives, Branding Campaigns, Referral Programs, Stay interviews).
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media and internet sites; providing organizational information, opportunities and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport
  • Provides general assistance and support to employees and responds to employee requests for information and questions via HR Connections Line and HR Team email; answers both routine and complex questions by researching answers to questions using internal resources (e.g. Employee Guide, union contracts, benefits certificates, HR Advice book); escalates issues to appropriate HR Manager or employee supervisor when appropriate.
  • Communicates with employees and management team regarding requests for information, policy and procedure changes; supervisor and management team regarding any problems or issues.
  • Completes and maintains Hiring Status reports, offer letters, AAP logs, EEO, Vets 100/100A and other paperwork according to established company policy; creates and analyzes reports.
  • Maintains confidentiality of financial information, insurance and litigation documents, employee information (e.g. wage information, discipline, medical information) and other sensitive and confidential information.
  • Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works outside of the normal schedule as required to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required.
Education Level
Minimum – 2 Year / Associate Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent work experience
Preferred – 4 Year / Bachelors in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or related field

Experience
Years of Experience – 3 – 5 Human Resources experience, preferably in Recruiting.

Computer Skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Access and pivot tables.

Additional Requirements
Knowledge of: Microsoft Office Suite including Access and pivot tables; Oracle HRIS; beverage industry; Human Resources policies, practices, laws and regulations (e.g. EEO, AAP, ADA, FMLA, OSHA). Skill in: internal and external customer service; training and coaching. Ability to: work quickly, efficiently and independently; multi-task; prioritize; be detail oriented; meet deadlines in a pressured situation; communicate effectively with other employees and develop good working relationships; listen; have empathy for other employees; adapt to change; problem solve; operate a computer, copier, printer, fax machine; read and write; maintain composure in stressful or difficult situations; create, develop and deliver presentations to other employees.
