About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated entry-level Mechanical Designer/Draftsman to join our growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals eager to gain hands-on experience in mechanical design and fabrication for the oil and gas industry.
You’ll work closely with senior designers to develop 3D models, detailed engineering drawings, and bill of materials for complex mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Create 3D models of mechanical components and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor.
- Produce detailed fabrication and assembly drawings from design data.
- Support the development and maintenance of the company’s Content Center parts library.
- Generate and organize part lists and piping component lists for purchasing.
- Assist in developing and documenting internal design procedures and standards.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in CAD/Drafting, Mechanical Design, or related field.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD (2016 or later).
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience with Inventor Routed Systems, iLogic, Frame Generator, or VBA programming.
