Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Assistant to join the Clubs team at G-III. This role supports the sales team in managing wholesale accounts, processing orders, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and internal departments. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and passionate about the fashion industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team with administrative tasks, including updating account lists and profiles, maintaining the PO log, and managing the wholesale event calendar
- Facilitate communication between clients and the account management team for in-store event planning, goal setting, and performance tracking
- Coordinate planning for NY markets and provide support during market week, including catering coordination and general assistance
- Maintain and monitor selling reports for all major accounts, including managing invoices tied to selling reports (Circana, etc.) and ensuring timely payment follow-up
- Manage seasonal order confirmations and ensure weekly shipping updates are delivered promptly
- Verify vendor orders for accuracy and assist in order processing, EDI/order confirmation, and shipment tracking; provide backup support for EDI processes
- Collaborate with the Logistics department to ensure client communication and timely order shipping
Sample & Showroom Management:
- Maintain showroom and closet organization, ensuring all samples are sorted, orderly, and easily accessible
- Manage advertisement and showroom samples, including tracking requests and reviewing all buyer samples prior to shipment
- Oversee sample shipping process: maintain daily FedEx log, ensure samples are properly tagged, and confirm all shipping forms are completed in coordination with the mailroom liaison
- Coordinate sample collection and pickups throughout the building; communicate with teams when samples are returned
Product, Data & Content Management:
- Manage webtext for all regions across programs; cross-reference details with internal partners (Ashley, Ally, or leadership) and verify accuracy against care/content labels before final submission
- Handle Syndigo Canada eCommerce uploads
- Upload post-market images and files
- Support Sam’s Club item setup and related tasks
- Maintain and update global files and licensing files (quarterly updates)
Operations & Office Support:
- Maintain office supplies and overall office organization
- Ensure shipping and operational logs are consistently updated and accurate
Account & Market Insights:
- Conduct monthly reviews of Costco, Sam’s Club, and BJ’s websites to monitor customer feedback on G-III products; report low ratings or notable reviews to the team

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising or equivalent
- 1–2 years of industry experience, preferably in fashion wholesale/sales
- Proficiency in Excel
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Salary:
$55,000 – $65,000 per year ($26.44 – $31.25 per hour, based on a 40-hour work week)
