**Director of Analytics and Reporting, G-III Warehouses**
The Director of Analytics and Reporting for Warehouse Operations leads the strategy, development, and execution of analytics, reporting, and data management initiatives that drive performance and efficiency across the warehouse and distribution network.
This leader oversees the development of comprehensive data strategies, reporting frameworks, and analytical models to support operational efficiency, inventory optimization, and enhanced customer experience. The role also guides the creation of actionable insights through data modeling, visualization, and performance tracking to support key business decisions.
A strong background in supply chain analytics, data governance, and cross-functional leadership is essential.
The Director plays a key leadership role in guiding the analytics team, establishing best practices for data quality and governance, and integrating insights across departments to enhance operational performance and customer outcomes.
This role reports to the VP of Network Strategy and Analytics, who leads a newly formed team focused on accelerating efficiency and driving cross-functional coordination across the organization.
Data Management & Governance
Oversee the development and execution of data management strategies that ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all warehouse operations.
Define and implement best practices for data governance, data quality, and data integrity.
Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Operations teams to align data practices with broader business objectives.
Manage volume capacity planning and provide a comprehensive network overview by analyzing inbound/outbound forecasts, on-hand inventory, and historical data comparisons.
Evaluate product categories and ship-to locations across various businesses to determine optimal product placement in distribution centers.
Ensure data integrity and consistency in performance tracking and reporting, provide analysis to identify issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Leverage data to inform strategic decisions and drive business growth.
Develop and manage KPIs and performance reporting frameworks to monitor and drive business goals.
Oversee the development and delivery of dashboards, recurring reports, and ad-hoc reporting tools to support day-to-day operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Analytics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale, data-driven improvement initiatives in complex operational settings
- Deep understanding of warehouse processes, distribution networks, and logistics workflows.
- Proven ability to lead and influence in a matrixed organization, including executive and cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and solutions
Preferred Skills
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools, including Cognos
- Strong expertise in SQL and advanced data querying techniques
- Working knowledge of Python and R for data analysis and modeling
- Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and business intelligence platforms
