About Us

Palm Construction is a family-owned, veteran-operated residential remodeling company completing over 3,000 home improvement and exterior renovation projects annually in several markets across the US. We're growing fast, and we promote from within.

The Role

Sales and marketing at Palm run on data — leads, appointments, confirmations, sits, sales, dispatch, production. This role owns both sides of that engine.

On the sales side, you'll build the reports leadership runs on, develop our CRM dashboards, and track salesperson performance across every market. On the marketing side, you'll own the numbers behind every platform and vendor we work with — measuring what our marketing dollars actually produce, finding and testing new sources, and driving the performance of our website and social channels. You'll report directly to the VP of Growth, and your work will be in front of company leadership every week.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves turning data into clear answers and sharp recommendations — and who wants their work to actually change how a company runs.

Location: Woodland Hills, CA

What You'll OwnSales Operations & Analytics

  • Reporting cadence. Build and run the weekly and monthly sales and marketing status reports for leadership — pipeline, conversion by stage, performance by market, trends that need attention.
  • Communicate with the field and leadership. Deliver recurring reports to sales leaders and company leadership, translate the findings into concrete actions, and follow through with the field to make sure the numbers actually move.
  • CRM dashboards & reporting. Develop the dashboards and reports our sales and marketing organization runs on, built on our CRM data (Quickbase) — from leadership views down to market-level and team-level reporting.
  • Full-funnel data. Connect the numbers across the entire customer journey — from lead to appointment set, confirmation, sit, sale, dispatch, and production — so we can see exactly where deals move and where they stall.
  • Salesperson performance tracking. Build and maintain rep-level scorecards across markets — time to work a lead, sit rates, closing rates, and referral, repeat, and upsell activity — and stay in constant communication with the field: sales leaders, sales reps, and general managers.
  • Forecasting support. Support monthly sales forecasting by market using pipeline and historical data.
  • Process improvement. Spot bottlenecks in how leads and deals move through our systems — handoffs, confirmations, dispatch — and propose fixes.
  • Systems integrations & migrations. Connect our sales, dispatch, and marketing systems so data flows cleanly between them, and support the evaluation and rollout of new platforms as we upgrade our stack — owning the data mapping and validation so nothing gets lost in the move.

Marketing

  • Marketing platforms analysis. Run recurring (weekly/monthly) analysis of our marketing sources and platforms: cost per lead, cost per sit, and cost per sale by platform and by market — and turn the numbers into clear recommendations on where to invest.
  • Vendor performance management. Run the recurring performance reviews of our lead-generation and marketing vendors — hold them accountable on cost, volume, and lead quality, and manage the relationship on the numbers.
  • New sources & channels. Research and recommend new marketing sources, find and connect with vendors to open up new channels, and test them with data before we scale spend.
  • Lead quality & attribution. Score lead quality by source all the way through to sale, and make sure every sale is attributed to the source that produced it — so marketing decisions are made on revenue, not just lead counts.
  • Marketing spend tracking. Track marketing spend by platform and by market against results, and recommend where to shift budget toward what actually converts.
  • Website & social media performance. Own the performance of our website and social media channels — track conversion from visit to lead, analyze engagement and lead generation by channel, bring recommendations for improvement, and work with our outside vendors to execute.

What You Bring

  • 2–4 years in sales operations, revenue operations, marketing analytics, or a similar analytical role
  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills — you can model, pivot, and reconcile large datasets without help
  • Hands-on CRM experience — building reports, dashboards, and workflows, not just entering data. Experience with Quickbase is a big plus (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar also welcome)
  • Experience with BI or dashboarding tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, or similar)
  • Fluency in marketing performance metrics — cost per lead, cost per sale, conversion by channel — and the judgment to evaluate platforms, campaigns, and new sources on the numbers
  • Comfortable managing external vendors and internal stakeholders — you can run a performance review with a vendor and hold the line on the numbers, and communicate just as well with sales leaders in the field
  • The ability to turn data into a clear story — you can present findings to leadership and to salespeople who don't live in spreadsheets
  • Self-directed and detail-obsessed — you catch the number that doesn't add up
  • Familiarity with web and social analytics (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, or similar)
  • Experience in home improvement, home services, or another direct-to-consumer sales environment is a plus
