Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This role involves conducting inspections, performing quality audits, and utilizing precision measuring instruments to assess product quality throughout the manufacturing process. The Quality Control Inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of products using various precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and ISO 9001 standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Perform quality audits to assess adherence to quality management systems and identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize Calypso software for data collection and analysis of inspection results.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, findings, and corrective actions taken.
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and best practices.
- Assist in training staff on quality control processes and standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, ISO 9001, and other relevant standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions regarding product quality.
- Experience conducting quality audits and implementing quality management systems (QA/QC).
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across departments.
