Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential, commercial, and industrial painting projects, with a strong understanding of various painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing processes. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and brushes.
- Execute residential and commercial painting projects with precision, adhering to project timelines and specifications.
- Perform surface repairs such as drywall finishing.
- Conduct renovation work including restoration of surfaces and remodeling tasks.
- Maintain a clean work environment by properly disposing of waste materials and organizing tools.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed on-site.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, construction painting.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as brushes, rollers, caulking guns, scrapers; power tools including sanders and spray equipment
- Familiarity with surface preparation techniques like drywall finishing.
- Strong understanding of color theory for effective color matching and finishing aesthetics.
- Construction site experience preferred; knowledge of safety standards is essential.
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
