Job Summary
G&G Garbage LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Collections & IRP Specialist to join our team in Baker, MT. This part-time position is responsible for managing customer collections and overseeing International Registration Plan (IRP) transactions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
Key Responsibilities
Collections Duties:
- Monitor customer accounts and identify overdue balances.
- Contact customers to arrange payment plans and collect outstanding debts in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activity and communications.
- Prepare and send statements, notices, and correspondence related to collections.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues or discrepancies.
- Generate reports on collection status and account activity as needed.
IRP (International Registration Plan) Duties:
- Process IRP applications, renewals, and supplements in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Verify and input registration data accurately into relevant systems.
- Communicate with carriers, drivers, and regulatory agencies regarding IRP requirements and documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IRP rules, procedures, and compliance standards.
- Ensure all IRP records are organized and audit-ready.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate's degree preferred).
- Prior experience in collections, accounting, transportation registration, or related administrative work.
- Knowledge of IRP regulations and procedures is preferred but training will be provided.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to negotiate effectively with clients.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Customer service-oriented mindset.
Wage: $20/hr
Job Type: Part Time / 20hrs a week
- M, T, Th, F - 8am to 1pm
Experience:
- Collections: 1 year (Preferred)
- DOT Compliance Reporting: 1 year (Preferred)
