Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fitness Equipment Field Service Technician to join our growing team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining fitness equipment while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Review daily schedule from dispatch and print job work orders
- Manage route efficiency and ensure timely service visits
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electronic fitness equipment issues
- Accurately document work performed, parts used/needed, and payments collected
- Communicate clearly with customers about issues, solutions, and expectations
- Coordinate with contact center and manufacturer technical support as needed
- Recommend preventative maintenance and service contracts
- Support department goals related to customer satisfaction and profitability
- Handle escalated service issues professionally and effectively
- Promote company growth through outstanding service experiences
Requirements
- 2 years experience repairing fitness equipment or related electro-mechanical experience
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong customer service mindset
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Clean driving record (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent
