What are the responsibilities and job description for the Local Flatbed Delivery Driver position at G.F. Munich Welding LLC?
At Munich Welding, we are building more than products. We are building a team of dependable, skilled, accountable people who care about doing the job right, supporting one another, and representing the company well. Our culture is built around five core commitments: we grow people, we work with excellence, we keep each other safe, we win as a team, and we respect the craft and the craftsman.
We are looking for a high-character, high-dependability Driver who understands that this role is critical to the success of the entire operation. This person is not only responsible for safe, timely deliveries but also for supporting the shop, communicating clearly, protecting quality, and strengthening teamwork every day.
This role requires more than the ability to drive. The Driver plays a major role in how the team functions each day. If you are the kind of person who communicates well, takes ownership, values safety, helps others, and takes pride in doing things right, you may be a great fit. If you prefer to work independently without supporting the team, resist feedback, cut corners, or avoid responsibility when problems arise, this role will not be a fit.
What This Role Is Responsible For
- Drive a 27-foot flatbed truck or box truck for local deliveries
- Safely load, unload, and secure materials for transport
- Operate a forklift
- Support shipping, staging, and shop flow when not on deliveries
