Event Assistant - Entry Level

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Event Assistant to join our team. This entry-level role is perfect for someone passionate about events, marketing, and fundraising, and who wants to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of event planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing events, both virtual and in-person.
• Support event logistics, including venue setup, registration, and attendee management.
• Help manage vendor relationships and coordinate deliveries, rentals, and equipment.
• Maintain event calendars, timelines, and budgets.
• Assist in marketing and promotional efforts, including email campaigns, social media, and print materials.
• Provide on-site support during events, ensuring smooth operations and high attendee satisfaction.
• Track event metrics and assist in post-event reporting.
• Support fundraising initiatives, donor outreach, and sponsorship coordination as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule, including availability for occasional evenings or weekends.
