Duties
- Receive, unload, and load shipments using material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory movement
- Stock shelves, produce displays, and organize products efficiently within the warehouse and retail store areas
- Conduct regular inventory checks using RF scanners and maintain accurate inventory records through inventory management systems
- Assist in shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments against purchase orders and packing lists
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards by performing routine warehouse maintenance, cleaning, and organizing workspaces
- Support merchandising efforts by arranging products according to store standards and ensuring proper product placement
- Communicate effectively with team members across shifts to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth warehouse operations
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience or retail store experience is highly preferred
- Familiarity with inventory control systems and material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while practicing safe lifting techniques
- Multilingual skills or bilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication within diverse teams
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail in stock management and merchandising processes
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
