Custodian

Summary

The Custodian position is responsible for keeping the building and grounds in a clean and orderly condition. This position will clean eyewash stations, bail cardboard, empty trash containers, sweep and mop floors, clean bathrooms and straighten warehouse.

Primary Duties:

• General cleaning. (sweep, mop, collecting trash, bathrooms)
• Manages supplies ordered and replenish supplies as needed.
• Manages cardboard bailer.
• Ensures eyewash stations are clean.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Minimum of one year of experience (preferred)

• Vision Protection is mandatory
• Vision requirements include close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distant vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); ability to focus (ability to adjust eyes to bring an object into sharp focus)
• Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items.

• Shift & Schedule: 1st Mon-Fri | 7:00AM - 3:30PM
• Pay Range: $15 - $16/hour
