Business Operations Supervisor (Transportation)

Are you a strong communicator who enjoys solving problems, supporting drivers, and keeping operations moving? We are looking for a Business Operations Supervisor to help manage daily dispatch execution, support driver performance, and ensure our transportation operations run safely, efficiently, and on time.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee daily driver dispatch and planning to meet revenue, margin, service, and customer expectations.
• Communicate with drivers throughout the day to support a positive work environment and encourage participation in the driver referral program.
• Coach, mentor, and provide regular feedback to drivers to support safe, compliant, and efficient performance.
• Review, update, and approve driver timecards accurately and on time.
• Monitor assigned equipment for availability, utilization, maintenance needs, cleanliness, and readiness.
• Track on-time performance, service reliability, and schedule compliance; address delays and communicate service risks as needed.
• Use data on driver and equipment utilization to improve productivity, balance workloads, reduce idle time, and support operational goals.
• Support recruiting and hiring by participating in driver interviews, evaluating qualifications, and making onboarding recommendation

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of experience in truckload transportation planning, dispatching, or a related transportation operations role.
• Comfortable using dispatch software, DAT, standard office equipment, and Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, customer service, and follow-through skills.
• Basic knowledge of data collection, reporting, and performance trends is helpful.

• Shift: Monday – Friday, Weekends as needed
• Pay Range: $68,000 – $88,000 annually
