Our G&D Farms location in Duette, FL is hiring experienced Forklift Drivers to support our strawberry shipping and receiving operations. This is a full-time seasonal position with potential for full time year round for the right candidate.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to load and unload strawberry pallets and packaging materials
- Support shipping and receiving activities
- Move product safely and efficiently in cold storage, packing, and loading areas
- Verify loads and follow instructions for proper handling
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Complete daily inspection of equipment.
- Assist with other duties as needed
Requirements
- Forklift experience required (agricultural or produce environment preferred)
- Forklift Certified or willing/able to obtain certification
- Reliable and dependable attendance
- Ability to work flexible hours as shipping volumes change
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Nights, and weekends required during the season.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
