Position Summary: This position is responsible for the daily planning, scheduling, and organizing of the duties of the janitorial employees. This position is responsible for providing direction and leadership to ensure effective operations, complete customer satisfaction and long-term sustainable growth.

- Manages the implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and work standards for evening janitorial operations.
- Monitors and directs nightly operations to ensure that policies and procedures are being followed, that goals and objectives are met, and that services are being provided efficiently and effectively; takes corrective action as necessary; personally handles the most difficult, sensitive or controversial projects for the evening janitorial operations.
- Manages and monitors the evening janitorial hours budgets.
- Participates in the reviews and evaluations of the work of subordinate operational staff.
- Participates and assists in training, development and work evaluation of subordinate staff; makes recommendations on hiring, termination, promotion, remedial training, and corrective discipline as required.
- Manages systems and maintains records that provide for the proper evaluation, control and documentation of assigned activities; prepares and directs the preparation of a variety of written correspondence, reports, procedures, directives, and other materials.
- Inspects work performed to ensure conformance to specifications and established standards.
- Consults with and helps staff members to resolve production issues and personnel problems.
- Makes recommendations for equipment or other asset purchases based upon targeted goals and operational needs.
- Manages and ensures implementation of best practices procedures throughout all areas of nightly janitorial operations.
- Assists in ensuring all work orders are completed promptly and accurately.
- Reviews and approves employee timecards and personnel documents.
- Performs fill-in or substitute duties as necessary.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises all Account Supervisors and Building Leads. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education/Experience: A high-school diploma or General Education Degree is required. At least three years of experience in the janitorial or related field of work is required. At least three years of supervisor experience is required.
Certifications/Licenses: A valid Ohio Drivers' License is required.
