Duties
- Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to keep lawns lush and healthy.
- Maintain landscapes through pruning, tree trimming, planting, and mulching to promote growth and aesthetic appeal.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for tasks like trimming bushes, installing hardscape features, or repairing irrigation systems.
- Conduct routine landscape maintenance including weed control, leaf removal, snow plowing during winter months, and general site cleanup.
- Ensure all equipment and tools are properly maintained and stored after use to maximize safety and longevity.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools, and other landscaping machinery confidently.
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques, landscape maintenance practices, horticulture principles, and gardening best practices.
- Familiarity with snow plowing operations for winter season landscape upkeep.
- Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials when necessary.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow detailed instructions accurately.
