What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic / Hydraulic Mechanic position at G&A Truck Repair?
We are looking for an experienced mechanic with heavy duty diagnostic skills to join our team to provide maintenance and repair services on diesel engines, semi's, RV's, bucket trucks, cranes, and other hydraulic's and trailers. We are a small independent shop with a comfortable work environment. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 til 5:00, for a 40 hour work week with some paid overtime available. Benefits include Paid Time Off, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, a 401K with match, and a yearly bonus.
This position requires a valid drivers license, your own tools, and the ability to work independently. CDL helpful but not necessary. Compensation will be based on experience.
We will pay for your computer diagnostic skills and anyone with towing, rigging experience is highly encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose and repair hydraulic equipment and related components.
- Perform preventive maintenance on diesel engines and related components.
- Repair or replace defective parts as needed and test repairs to ensure proper operation.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $74,000.00 per year
