Accounting Manager

G.A Rogers & Associates is excited to partner with our Irving, Texas based client in search of a dynamic Accounting Leader to join their growing team.

Our client is a high-growth organization in Irving, Texas looking for a driven, high-performing Accounting Manager to join its accounting leadership team.

This is not a “maintain what already exists” accounting role. The company is growing, the business is evolving and they need someone who can grow right alongside it.

The ideal candidate has built a strong foundation in accounting through progressive career growth and is ready for increased ownership, visibility and influence.

What You'll Do

You'll work closely with accounting and finance leadership while taking ownership of key areas of the accounting function, including:

• Lead and support the monthly, quarterly and year-end close process
• Oversee general ledger activity, reconciliations, journal entries and financial reporting
• Review financial results and help identify trends, variances and areas requiring attention
• Strengthen accounting processes, controls and reporting as the organization grows
• Support budgeting, forecasting and other financial analysis
• Partner with leaders across the business to improve financial visibility and decision-making
• Assist with external audits and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting
• Identify opportunities to automate, streamline and improve accounting processes
• Take on increasing responsibility as the company continues to scale

• Have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Bring strong progressive accounting experience with increasing levels of responsibility
• Have a solid understanding of GAAP, month-end close and financial reporting

CPA or public accounting experience is a plus, but we are equally interested in candidates who have demonstrated strong progression and impact throughout their careers.
