What You'll Do
- Assist our physical therapists and patients during treatment sessions
- Help patients with exercises and therapeutic activities
- Set up and clean treatment areas and equipment
- Assist with hot/cold modalities and other treatment activities as directed
- Keep the clinic organized, clean, and welcoming
- Help patients feel comfortable and encouraged throughout their visits
- Work closely with our PTs and the rest of our team to provide a great patient experience
- Learn about a variety of physical therapy specialties, including orthopedic, vestibular, balance, concussion, and pelvic health rehabilitation
- Friendly and comfortable interacting with people of all ages
- Dependable and willing to jump in wherever needed
- A good communicator and team player
- Comfortable being active and on your feet throughout the day
- Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions
- Compassionate and patient with people who may be hurting, frustrated, or nervous
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
- Interested in healthcare, physical therapy, exercise science, or a related field.

Responsibilities
- Help physical therapist provide care to patients
- Ensure clients are being seen in a timely manner with no backlogs
- Provide supervised assistance to patients
- Sanitize rooms after each client
- Some admin and office tasks
- Assist the therapist in administering patient care
- Maintain a smooth flow of patients through the clinic and gym
- With supervision, set up patients on modalities; assist with their exercise programs
- Clean tables and equipment between patients
- Assist with clerical and administrative tasks as needed
- Perform some laundry duties
Required skills & qualifications:
- H.S. graduate or GED
- Great communication/interpersonal skills
- Working toward a physical therapy or AT degree
- Knowledgeable of medical language
