Role Description This full-time, on-site Physical Therapist role is based in Reno, NV. The Physical Therapist will perform comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions for patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and balance-related conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing hands-on therapy, documenting clinical findings and progress, educating patients and families on home exercise programs, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize outcomes. The role also involves monitoring patient safety, using specialized equipment for balance and vestibular retraining, and contributing to a supportive, patient-centered clinic environment. Participation in quality improvement, continuing education, and occasional community outreach may be part of the role.
Qualifications
- Clinical expertise in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Strong Patient Care and Home Care skills, including patient education, safety awareness, and continuity of care beyond the clinic.
- Foundational knowledge of Medicine relevant to orthopedics, neurology, and vestibular conditions to inform clinical decision-making.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or equivalent) and current/eligible Physical Therapist licensure in Nevada.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients, families, and colleagues in a diverse environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with sound clinical judgment and time-management skills.
- Experience with balance, vestibular, or neurologic rehabilitation is preferred; prior outpatient clinic experience is a plus.
