Physical Therapist – Outpatient Clinic – FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers

Location: US 280 Birmingham (serving Brook Hills, Greystone, Eagle Point, Inverness, Highland Lakes area)

Salary: $88,000 – $98,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)

Schedule: Full time, Monday–Friday (no weekends, flexible schedule available)

Are you an experienced Physical Therapist with strong clinical and leadership skills who is ready to lead an outpatient clinic, focusing on realistic caseloads, quality care, and strong support?

FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers is opening a clinic in South Birmingham/Hoover area and we’re looking for a dedicated Clinical Director to build and lead our clinical team while delivering exceptional patient care. This is a unique opportunity to combine hands-on treatment with clinical leadership in a high quality clinic.

Position Overview

As Clinical Director, you will provide direct patient care while leading all clinical operations of our clinic. You will mentor and develop the clinical team, ensure the highest standards of care.

As part of a locally owned FYZICAL franchise, you’ll have the autonomy to deliver the high quality care you believe in, backed by national systems, training, and resources.

What You’ll Do

Clinical Leadership & Patient Care

• Oversee clinical operations and maintain the highest standards of patient care and outcomes
• Perform comprehensive evaluations and deliver hands on treatment for orthopedic, neurological, vestibular, and balance disorders
• Model clinical excellence while leading by example

Team Development & Mentorship

• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high performing team of physical therapists and support staff
• Provide clinical supervision, training, and professional growth opportunities
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and growth driven team culture

Ideal Candidate

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Alabama (or license-eligible)
• 3 years of outpatient physical therapy experience (previous leadership, supervisory, or mentoring experience preferred)
• Strong clinical skills with a passion for delivering exceptional outcomes
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and build high performing teams
• Team oriented leader who thrives in a collaborative, growth focused environment
