About The Role
FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers in Concord, NC is looking for a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our growing team! This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic outpatient clinic while making a real difference in patients' lives every day.
Responsibilities
Clinical Support
- Assist physical therapists and PTAs in delivering patient care and therapeutic exercises
- Prepare and maintain treatment areas, equipment, and supplies between patient sessions
- Guide patients through prescribed exercise programs under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist
- Apply and remove therapeutic modalities such as heat, ice, and electrical stimulation as directed
- Transport and assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinic environment
- Schedule appointments and manage patient intake
- Process paperwork, insurance forms, and billing documents
- Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Update patient records and treatment notes
- Support front desk duties as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a physical therapy, healthcare, or clinical setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first attitude
- Ability to stand, lift, and assist patients physically throughout the shift
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Interest in pursuing a career in physical therapy or allied health is a plus
- Salary: $13 to $15 per hour
- Schedule: Full-time or part-time 20 to 40 hours/week
- Benefits eligibility after 90-day probationary period
