Role Description This is a contract, on-site Syteline Functional Consultant role based in Columbus, OH. The Syteline Functional Consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, analyze existing business processes, and design effective Syteline ERP configurations and workflows. Responsibilities include gathering and documenting functional requirements, mapping business processes to Syteline capabilities, and supporting system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements. The consultant will conduct functional testing, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with technical teams to ensure system stability and performance. Day-to-day tasks also involve user training, developing functional documentation, providing post-implementation support, and contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to assess business processes, identify gaps, and propose effective Syteline-based solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, lead workshops, and translate business needs into clear functional requirements.
- Experience with business process analysis, documentation, and optimization within an ERP or Syteline environment.
- Consulting skills, including stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and solution presentation in a client-facing setting.
- Understanding of finance-related processes (e.g., GL, AP, AR, inventory, costing) and how they are supported in Syteline or similar ERP systems.
- Hands-on experience as a Syteline functional consultant or ERP functional analyst, preferably in manufacturing or distribution environments.
- Ability to work on-site in Columbus, OH, manage multiple priorities, and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools; ERP implementation or Syteline certifications are a plus.
