Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Seattle WA-(Onsite considered only PST located candidates)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong background in AWS Cloud, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices, as well as experience with TeamCity, Github, AWS CDK, TypeScript, Helm Charts, and Splunk
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS
Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity and GitHub
- Write infrastructure as code using AWS CDK and TypeScript
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure end application issues
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards
- Develop and maintain Helm Charts for Kubernetes deployments
- Implement and manage logging and monitoring solutions using Splunk
- Implement and maintain security, backup, and disaster recovery processes
- Stay up-to-date with indusdry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements:
- 7 years of experience in DevOps engineering
- Strong experience with AWS Cloud (EKS, S3, RDS, et=.)
- Experience with Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, etc.)
- Experience with TeamCity and GitHub
- Experience with AWS CDK and TypeScript
- Experience developing and managing Helm Charts
- Experience with Splunk for logging and monitoring<=:p>
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and principles
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills=o:p>
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Nice to Have:
- Experience with containerization (Docker, etc.)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks
