Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and implementing the daily program under the direction of the lead teachers.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining the safe, loving and nurturing environment
• Help observe and record the development of children in the classroom
• Maintain classroom cleanliness
• Treat all children with dignity and respect and allow for individual differences.
• Deal with the children’s individual needs and assist other staff when needed
• Maintain a professional attitude at all times
• Show initiative in the improvement of early childhood education, the program, and the curriculum
• Supervise, interact, and engage with the children in a variety of developmentally appropriate, play-based activities
• Maintain an open, warm, and professional relationship with all families

Job Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Commit to one year contract
• Display warm and friendly personality; Be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others
• Relates well to children
• Maintain professional attitude toward the children, families, and co-workers at all times; Must be able to communicate professionally and openly
• Ability to assist the lead teachers with providing a warm and nurturing environment in which the child can grow physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.5 - $19 per hour

Schedule:

• flexibility to work an 7 - 7.5 hour shift between 7:30am and 6pm
• Monday to Friday

All staff are required to be fully vaccinated/boosted for Covid-19.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required

Salary: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
