FX Marine Center in Ocala, Florida, is looking for an experienced, highly skilled Certified Marine Technician / Master Marine Technician who knows outboard motors inside and out!
We are seeking a professional with extensive hands-on experience diagnosing, servicing, and repairing Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, and Mercury outboard engines.
We're not looking for an entry-level technician. We want someone who takes pride in their work, knows how to troubleshoot complex problems, and has the experience and technical knowledge to get the job done right the first time.

What You'll Be Doing
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, and Mercury outboard motors.
- Perform advanced mechanical, electrical, fuel system, and computer diagnostics.
- Troubleshoot engine performance issues using manufacturer-specific diagnostic software and equipment.
- Perform engine repairs, rebuilds, installations, and repowers.
- Diagnose and repair steering systems, trim and tilt systems, rigging, and related marine components.
- Complete routine maintenance and major mechanical repairs.
- Maintain accurate repair documentation and service records.
- Work independently to diagnose problems and complete repairs efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional marine technician experience REQUIRED. *
- Manufacturer certifications from Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, and/or Mercury REQUIRED. Certifications from at least one manufacturer are acceptable; certifications from all four are NOT required.
- Master Technician certification strongly preferred.
- Extensive hands-on experience with outboard engine diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
- Experience working on multiple outboard engine brands strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical systems, fuel injection, engine management systems, and mechanical repairs.
- Proficiency with manufacturer diagnostic software and specialized tools.
- Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical problems.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
