FX Collision Center is looking for a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our growing team. We are seeking a dependable technician with strong diagnostic abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on automotive repair experience and be comfortable performing diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and inspections on a wide range of vehicles, including late-model vehicles equipped with advanced technology and ADAS systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on domestic and foreign vehicles
- Conduct engine, suspension, steering, brake, and electrical repairs
- Diagnose drivability concerns and check engine lights
- Perform maintenance services and vehicle inspections
- Remove and install mechanical components as needed during collision repairs
- Work alongside body technicians and estimators to ensure quality repairs
- Use diagnostic scan tools and follow OEM repair procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ensure repairs are completed safely and efficiently
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of automotive mechanic experience required
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with electrical systems and drivability diagnostics preferred
- Ability to use scan tools and diagnostic equipment
- ASE certifications are a plus
- Valid driver’s license required
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
