We’re currently seeking an enthusiastic Account Executive to join our Nashville-based sales team. Position Summary
The Account Executive is responsible for developing new business, growing existing client relationships, and creating customized advertising solutions across FW Publishing’s portfolio. This role is ideal for a motivated, relationship-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and enjoys helping local businesses succeed.
Key Responsibilities
· Prospect and identify new business opportunities to expand the client base and drive revenue
· Maintain and grow existing client relationships through strategic account management
· Build long-term relationships with local business owners and key decision-makers
· Collaborate with clients to develop creative advertising strategies across print, digital, email, and event sponsorships
· Manage the full sales cycle independently—from prospecting and pitching to negotiation, closing, and follow-up
· Effectively manage sales pipeline, meet quotas, and achieve revenue goals
· Work closely with internal teams in a collaborative, supportive environment
Qualifications & Skills
· Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for relationship-building
· Self-starter with the ability to manage pipeline, negotiate contracts, and close deals
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
· Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
· Solid understanding of digital advertising and event sponsorships; ability to develop tailored proposals to meet client needs
· Highly organized, adaptable multitasker with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
· Bonus: Experience in digital, social media, or integrated advertising sales
· Appreciation for (or eagerness to learn about) Nashville Scene, Nfocus, Nashville Post and Williamson Scene.
Compensation & Benefits
· Competitive compensation: $50,000-$55,000 (base commission)

Additional Information
· This is a Nashville-based position with in-person client meetings throughout Middle Tennessee
