Fox Valley Savings Bank is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Originator to join our team and support the Oshkosh market.
This is a unique opportunity to step into a well-established territory as a long-tenured Mortgage Loan Originator prepares for retirement after more than 30 years serving the community. What You'll Do
- Develop and grow residential mortgage lending business throughout the Oshkosh and surrounding Fox Valley communities
- Build and maintain relationships with Realtors, builders, developers, and other referral partners
- Guide borrowers through the mortgage process from application to closing
- Evaluate customer needs and recommend appropriate lending solutions
- Manage a healthy pipeline while delivering exceptional customer service
- Partner with underwriters, processors, appraisers, title companies, and closing partners to ensure smooth transactions
- Represent Fox Valley Savings Bank at community events and networking opportunities
- Identify additional banking opportunities and deepen customer relationships
What We're Looking For
- 3 years of mortgage lending or loan origination experience
- Active NMLS registration or ability to obtain and maintain registration
- Strong understanding of residential mortgage products and lending regulations
- Proven relationship-building and business development skills
- Ability to manage a pipeline independently and drive production
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Preferred
- Existing relationships within the Oshkosh, Fox Valley, or surrounding Wisconsin markets
- Experience partnering with Realtors and referral sources
