We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality tire services and vehicle maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Perform tire installations, rotations, and repairs using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for tire service tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed on vehicles.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding tire options, vehicle maintenance, and service recommendations.
- Diagnose automotive issues related to tires and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in tire technology.
- Creating accurate and detailed work orders
- Process payments, manage invoices, and maintain a detailed history of customer and vehicle service records
Qualifications
- Previous experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic is preferred.
- Familiarity with tire service procedures and equipment is highly desirable.
- Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment related to vehicle maintenance.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive diagnostics are a plus.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with tire service.
- Previous experience with QuickBooks is preferred but not required.
