About the Role:

The Cashier plays a crucial role in the overall customer experience within the accommodation and food services industry. This position is responsible for accurately processing transactions, handling cash, and ensuring that customers receive prompt and friendly service. The Cashier will also maintain a clean and organized workspace, contributing to a welcoming environment for guests. Additionally, this role involves managing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during the transaction process. Ultimately, the Cashier's performance directly impacts customer satisfaction and the establishment's reputation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Experience in the food service or hospitality industry.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer transactions using a cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit payments.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and dining space, including performing janitorial duties as needed.
• Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of the business.
• Lift and carry heavy items as required, ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks.
