The Fuzzy Friends Petsitting team has provided professional pet sitting and dog walking services to Rio Rancho, Westside Albuquerque, and Corrales since 2012.
To qualify for this position, you must live in the Service Area of the business, which includes zip codes 87124, 87144, 87120, 87114 & 87048. This allows for quick response times in critical situations.
This is a part-time job appropriate for supplemental income. Work hours are highly variable from week to week, so you must adapt to an ever-changing schedule, route, and pets.
Seeking Individuals Who:

*Can demonstrate an ability to fulfill our impeccable standard of care and professionalism.
*Can be flexible in regards to scheduling. Schedules are subject to change due to last-minute requests.
Requirements for the position:
* You have a reliable car, a valid driver's license, auto insurance & clean driving record.
* Age 18
*You have a reliable smartphone with internet access & willing to learn required pet sitting, time tracking & mapping apps.
* You live in the zip codes of 87124, 87144, 87120, 87114 & 87048.
*You can commit to working with us until at least October 1, 2026. The pets & parents want to develop a long-term relationship with you.
*You love both dogs and cats.
* Mornings start at 7:00 am and evenings can end at 9:45 pm. Flexibility in scheduling is critical.
*You can pass a criminal/background check.
Responsibilities:
Caring for animals includes this and more:
Dogs: multiple visits to the Owner's home. Daily walks (min 1 mile), feeding, playing, poop scooping when the visit ends. Little dogs, big dogs, puppies & seniors, sometimes a lot of dogs at one time! Dog walkers need to be able to manage large and strong dogs on a leash.
Cats: One trip or Two trips to the Owner's Home: feeding, brushing, cleaning litter boxes, playtime & cleanup.
We are open 365 days a year, some holidays and weekend availability will be required.
