What are the responsibilities and job description for the Strategy Director, Group Strategy & Ventures position at Fuze Finance?
About Fuze
Moving value instantly is possible.
Fuze is a global digital asset infrastructure group building the regulated rails that move stablecoins, digital assets and payments across some of the fastest-growing corridors in the world. Banks, fintechs and enterprises use our APIs to launch compliant digital asset products without building the licensing, custody and compliance stack themselves.
Our platform spans payments and wealth: stablecoin orchestration, cross-border payments with 24/7 settlement, a crypto payment gateway, embedded trading and collateralized lending, and an institutional OTC desk.
We've processed over $20B and we're just getting started. With teams across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Istanbul, Switzerland, Canada, the US, and more to come, we are backed by leading global investors.
Fuze is scaling into one of the defining infrastructure players in digital assets, and this is the moment to join - your call.
The Role at a Glance:
Location: Miami or New York City (Hybrid)
Reports to: Group Chief Strategy & Ventures Officer
Scope: United States, Canada and LATAM
Role Overview
This is a front-row seat to the strategy that shapes the company. You'll sit at the center of Group Strategy & Ventures, working directly with Fuze Group Leadership Team (CSVO and founders), translating a global platform into a winning North America position.
The U.S. will define the next chapter of payments and finance, and this role drives and executes our strategy on the ground there. We are looking for a senior operator who can own North America market entry, expansion, and partnerships end to end, and represent Fuze credibly with U.S. partners, regulators, and investors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the U.S. expansion strategy, including market entry, licensing pathways (state money transmitter licenses and federal/OCC options), partnership strategy, and go-to-market sequencing.
- Track and interpret the U.S. regulatory landscape, including the GENIUS Act, OCC charter dynamics, and state frameworks, and turn it into clear strategic direction.
- Lead board- and investor-grade strategy work, and represent Fuze in senior external meetings and forums.
- Drive new ventures and potential M&A across the U.S., Canada, and LATAM, and structure the analysis behind them.
- Drive strategic partnerships and support senior sales opportunities across the U.S., Canada, and LATAM.
- Work alongside the Dubai strategy team, Group functions, and Fuze, N.A. leadership to keep U.S. strategy aligned with the global platform.
What We're Looking For:
- 8 years of experience, built on a foundation at a top-tier strategy consultancy or a Big 4 strategy or transactions practice.
- Post-consulting operating or corporate development experience.
- Proven ability to independently own ambiguous, high-stakes strategy work and drive it to a decision.
- Fluency across the regulatory, commercial, and financial dimensions of a deal or market.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills to support ventures and M&A analysis.
- Executive presence, with credibility among founders, investors, regulators, and Tier 1 partners.
Strong preferences:
- A background in payments, fintech, crypto or digital assets, or financial infrastructure.
- Familiarity with the U.S. stablecoin and money transmission regulatory environment.
- Post-consulting operating or corporate development experience.
- An existing U.S. fintech or crypto network.
What Success Looks Like:
- A clear, executable U.S. expansion plan in motion — the right licenses targeted, the first strategic partnerships originated, and Fuze established as a credible name in the U.S. regulated-stablecoin conversation.
Why Join Fuze:
You'll shape how a global stablecoin infrastructure platform wins in the world's most important market, at the moment the rules are being written
- Build what actually matters: Define what a modern, regulated digital asset bank looks like in the U.S., and shape products, teams, and strategy in a fast-scaling environment.
- Global exposure: Operate across markets, collaborate with diverse teams, and gain truly international experience.
- Real autonomy: Shape strategy on the ground, backed by a Group leadership team that has built regulated businesses across several markets. Real ownership, real impact.
- Ambitious, no-nonsense culture: Work alongside sharp, driven people who move fast, think big, and get things done. Less bureaucracy, more outcomes.
- Define your legacy: Join as the founding leader of the Fuze U.S. story, at the stage where you don't just grow something, you create something you can point to and say, "I built that."
Pay range and compensation package:
Competitive base performance bonus equity; full package shared at first call.
Equal Opportunity Statement:
