Payroll Analyst - HR Dept

Duties: Maintaining payroll-related accounts and being responsible for the reconciliation and accuracy of one or more accounts within a complex accounting system. Maintaining ADP records for all hourly and salaried employees. This includes all information regarding employee records and manpower information. Preparing various accounting papers, schedules, exhibits, and summaries. Researching and advising payroll staff concerning the accounting treatment of complex transactions. Performing periodic internal audits of various payroll areas and preparing materials for external or internal auditors. Maintaining accurate records of employee hours worked and all attendance records in ADP for all hourly and salaried employees. Submitting computer-generated disciplinary recommendations to the Human Resources Manager for review and approval. Processing payroll to the point of direct deposit, printing checks, and updating payroll. Providing the Finance Department with accurate data and reports for payroll audits. Preparing reports as necessary, including in-house reports and reports for outside agencies. Understanding the procedure for hiring new employees and enrolling new employees in ADP. Maintaining affirmative action documentation and reports on an ongoing basis. Conducting ADP training for all supervisors on a needed basis. Completing job reference requests, requests for employment verifications, liens, garnishments, benefits, 401K, etc.

Requirements: Master’s degree in Analytics, Statistics or closely related discipline.
