NO. Representative Duties
1 Serve as the designated safety officer for the Fuyao South Carolina facility. Assist EHS management in achieving and maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications. Aim to continually improve the EHS management systems.
Maintain a safe work environment:
1. Evaluate work environment to ensure safe practices are established to prevent injuries, accidents, and eliminate work hazards.
2. Design and implement safety program to include PPE, hearing protection and noise mapping, heat stress, LOTO, confined space, hot permit program, electrical safety, fork truck safety, and Confined Space as part of the initial implementation plan.
3. Provide safety direction and/or guidance to on-site contractors to ensure compliance with FGA safety rules, policies, and procedures.
Investigate accidents and injuries:
1. Conduct accident investigations immediately upon notice of accident and/or injury; complete within 24 hours at the latest.
2. Document interviews with employees and witnesses to the accident/injury.
3. Identify root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
4. Communicate details of accident and/or injury to EH&S Manager & Director.
5. Complete and/or support the submittal of worker's compensation report, OSHA logs, and other regulatory agency reports including environmental reporting.
Audit the facility for compliance with safety policies and protocols:
1. Complete scheduled walk-thrus of the HWCAA & SAA's on a daily basis.
2. Observe work environment for environmental or safety hazards.
3. Report any unusual environmental or safety issues to the EH&S Director for review and direction.
Delivery safety training to employees, contactors, vendors, and others as needed:
1. Become familiar with training materials to be an effective trainer.
2. Conduct training as directed.
3. Conduct testing to validate understanding.
4. Maintain attendance list of all employees.
Conduct safety-related hygiene testing as needed:
1. Review schedule of hygiene sampling list.
2. Complete sampling by target date.
3. Waste Profiling for all extisiting Chemicals and any new Chemicals that come into the Plant as needed.
Prepare, organize, and store safety-related documentation and records per compliance requirements:
1. Maintain Daily HWCAA Temperature logs on file.
2. Maintain all DOT transpertation record forms on file for 3 years.
3. Maintain all EPA (RCRA) records and forms on file for 3 years.
4. Maintain any other records or forms required by regulatory requirements.
Establish a work culture committed to safety:
1. Instill a culture of safety throughout the organization.
2. Conduct contractor safety training to ensure contractors comply with FGA safety rules, procedures, policies, and perform work in a safe manner.
3. Act as a EHS resource to plant management.
4. Provide technical support and assist in resolving safety issues to aid production and maintenance goals.
5. Facilitate the Monthly Associate Comittee Meeting.
2 Perform various duties to maintain production facilities and equiment.
Responsible for follow Project Engineer's installation plan and finish installation jobs;
Responsible for Medium voltage stations and Substations 5S, Daily spot checks and basic PMs;
Responsible for busway's and bus plugs' Daily spot check and PMs;
Support on Electrical on any urgent and emergency calls;
Responsible for UPS room and generator room 5S, Daily spot checks and basic PMs;
Responsible for fire alarm and suppression systems maintenance;
Site support on power outage and shut down activities;
Responsible for improve power supply system include Substations, site distribution panels, bus ducts and UPS room;
Responsible for managing electrical installation, high voltage and busway maintenance spare parts;
Responsible for Utility Electrical storage cage management and 5S;
Support on Water and HVAC Electrical installation job;
Responsible for all electrical malfuction records on Epic;
Fully support the Enviromental Engineer in the completion of their required duties;
Complete required monthy inspections of fire extinguishers.
