Job Title: Corporate Counsel
Job Summary:
· Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and other legal documents.
· Assist with litigation and internal investigations.
· Conduct legal research to support business operations and legal compliance.
· Support senior counsel in providing legal advice on compliance, risk evaluation, and dispute resolution.
· This is a full-time, in-person position based in Moraine, Ohio.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare, review, and analyze contracts in collaboration with functional departments, ensuring critical issues are addressed.
· Conduct legal research to assist senior counsel in providing practical guidance on compliance, risk management, and dispute resolution.
· Assist with litigation, internal investigations, and related legal matters.
· Support legal compliance training initiatives across the organization.
· Perform other duties as assigned by senior corporate counsel. (Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time.)
Qualifications:
· Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active bar license; preference given to Ohio, South Carolina, Michigan, or Illinois.
· Minimum of 4 years of legal experience, preferably in employment law or commercial litigation.
· Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
· Proficiency in Chinese and membership in the Ohio Bar are a plus.
